Enduring God, of yesterday, today and tomorrow,

you showed Moses the promised land

pledged long ago to Abraham and his descendants.

The promises you made continue to unfold

in the life of your people,

and are revealed anew through your son, Jesus.

​

God of today,

you have guided us through the years,

commanding us to serve no other god but you

and to love our neighbour.

That same love, woven from the beginning of time,

cannot be measured.

All you ask of us, in loving our neighbour,

is to reflect that love with our whole being

and make it real in the lives we lead.

​

Through the teachings of Jesus,

and with the help of the Holy Spirit,

grant us the courage and strength to perservere,

that in our living, we affirm the trugh of your promise:

a faithful God, whose love knows no limits.

​

May the touch of your hand on our life,

bring blessing, wholeness and healing.

And may we serve as witnesses to love,

in the world, and to the world.

​
