Come Holy Spirit, Encourager

Bear witness to us again that we are God's children

Lift us up when we falter and fail

Come to us when we are suffering

Grant us courage to walk in your way,

especially when we struggle in this world.

As you encourage us, help us to encourage others.

Come Holy Spirit, Comforter

Help us let go of all that is unloving within us and around us.

Fill us with your overflowing love.

Help us to met with joy those who are different from us.

May we help your love touch the lives of those in distress,

Those who are oppressed and victims of injustice.

We offer to you those we know who face times of difficulty.

​

Come Holy Spirit, Empowerer

You spoke to the disciples in different tongues.

Help us to be open to the insights of different languages.

May your wind and your fire rest upon us, giving us strength

To go out into your diverse world and speak your word of hope.

May you fill us with passion to respond to the climate crisis,

As we give thanks for the gift of creation,

And live out our thanks in word and action.
